Howdy Folks! It’s that time of year again to get together and BBQ and sample my latest brewed creations! I’ve been busy brewing my beers and I plan to break out the slow smoker and make some homemade Pastrami and other summer food! The firepit out back and friends! Come on down. I recently brewed two really nice new batches of special beers using Mecca Grade artisan malts and excited how they will turn out! They will be ready to try out. The first one is dedicated to the late great Gordon Lightfoot and named after one of my favorite songs, CareFree Highway. It’s an amber ale with a blend of the finest Pelton Pilsner malt, Metolius Munich, Vanora Vienna and a touch of Opal 44 caramelized toffee and Opal 22 graham cocoa malts. I used single elegant Sterling hops twice during the hops so it be good. All of the Mecca Grade malts make very good beers so it should be tasty!
